“ This sport bar has very tasty food. When my colleagues and I get together for fun, we like to go to 8 FatFat Bar & Grill. We always order the shrimp fried rice, boiled garlic soybeans, crispy chicken skins and spicy pork chops because it is so ono!! We always ask for vinegar with chili's on the side to dip the crispy chicken skins. Service is always great. They are very busy so make sure you all have time to wait for a table. If you like challenges they have one pool table and several dart boards. ”
“ Came in the other night, had the fat fat chicken, fried dumplings (GauGee), Chinese sausage fried rice and their fried noodles. Holy cow, it was all delicious. Service was quick though only two staff members worked the entire restaurant from table to bar. This is definitely a local's spot to kick back. Very run down overall but they sure can cook! Worth getting in here for sure! ”
“ True local spot. Come with Aloha and you'll get aloha back. Leave your entitlement at the door please. This is a place for locals and the humble. That said: the Gau gee and Cantonese fried chicken are some popular dishes here. ”
“ This is one of those locals locals locals bars that will allow outsiders in, but you will get the side eye...LOL! Kat said to meet up here and I had always wanted to come but never had the chance. Pau Hana Friday was a great day to be introduced! Everyone was pretty chill! I didn't know that parking in the mechanics next door was ok, but I parked on the street. Though it is small inside, they make use of all the space with a pool table and darts. She: If you're going to have more than two glasses, you should buy the bottle Didn't take much to twist Kat's arm. I stuck to my Jameson and ginger. The first one was weak, but the two that followed were very strong. We ordered the lupchong fried rice, fried gizzards, and fried lettuce...LOL! Oh and a spam and egg sandwich, which wasn't the best. Loved the fried lettuce since I'm trying to eat healthier...LOL! The fried rice was really good and I actually now like fried gizzards. The place was getting really crowded. Luckily, we kept on drinking cause we were there for about 4 hours! This is a pretty chill place to come to. Looking forward to coming back and exploring the menu. Mahalo 8FF8! ”
“ It's always a good time whenever I come here with family. The food here is amazing. The service is good, too. All the workers make sure you get the best experience here. I love the ambiance of this bar. I also love the open karaoke. Every time I come here, their songs of choice are always great and it really gets the vibe going. There's also a lot of good singers in this bar! ”
“ Nothing fancy but great service from Regan and good food! Came tonight for a quiet meal but the place was hopping with the final ncaa championship game so lucky to get a seat . The food was good and solid. Had their ong choy with beef over crispy noodles, their delicious fat fat chicken (a crispy salt pepper five spice) and half order of fries. It was fun to share the ambiance of the local dive bar scene. ”
“ Crazy about this local joint recommended by our local friends! Do not let the first impression or ambiance of the place fool you! Their menu and food is unbelievable and the price for that quality is unspeakable! Pool table, darts, old style booths and bar - local as can get. No tourist with exception of us when we visited - mainly all regular locals! Friendly welcoming service. Ordered the beef chow fun and the salt and pepper pork chops and shared between two of us. Excellent dishes and perfect portions! The yuzu cheesecake was delicious as well - not too sweet! It's really a hidden gem!! ”
“ Spontaneous lunch date with my bff. We were driving around trying to decide where to eat and we drove past 8 Fat Fat 8 and saw that they're open at lunch so around the block we went. It's been YEARS since I've been there but it's just like I remember. Dimly lit hole in the wall dive bar. Perfect! It was super quiet, only 2 people sitting at the bar. We sat in a booth and looked over the menu. It was hard to choose but we decided on the salt and pepper pork chop and shoyu pork belly lunch specials AND their chicken skins and a side of stir-fried ong choy. The food came was all cooked fresh and came out hot. The lunch specials came out with a little side salad too. Easy parking, great food, good service. 100% going back again! ”
“ I dream about this place. Walking through curtains was a little sketch but absolutely worth it. A dive bar, so don't expect anything fancy-JUST AMAZING FOOD. Garlic shrimp, CHEFS KISS!!! Fat Fat wings were a little greasy for my liking but were still delicious. Especially with the garlic sauce!!! Owners: please do not fall for the expansion or opening a second location idea. Lol, please stay as you are. The authenticity is real and appreciated. It is worth the experience. ”
